The free 30-minute trial lesson is the ideal way to get to know our methodology and see if it fits your needs.
During the lesson, we:
assess the student's level,
discuss your goals and expectations,
present our teaching approach and educational materials,
explain how the lesson is adapted to the student's age and level,
answer all your questions.
The trial lesson is open to both adults and children. For children, parent participation is welcome and, where needed, helps ensure the student's needs and goals are discussed more thoroughly.

At this age, language learning happens naturally through play, music, stories, and creative expression.
Children are introduced to Greek through enjoyable, hands-on activities such as drawing, movement, songs, and storytelling. This way, language becomes part of play, and children gradually become familiar with new words, simple phrases, and correct pronunciation.
The program focuses on:

connecting language with images, sounds, and movement.

In primary school, language becomes a tool for communication, expression, and creativity. Children gradually develop their skills in reading, writing, comprehension, and oral communication.
Through stories, dialogues, games, comics, and small projects, students actively participate in the lesson and learn to use Greek with greater ease and confidence.

Lessons for teenagers are designed to strengthen students' language accuracy, fluency, and confidence. The content is tailored to each student's needs, whether the goal is everyday communication or exam preparation.
Students work with thematic discussions, authentic texts, podcasts, digital tools, and simulations, so they can use the language in both everyday and more academic contexts.
The program focuses on:
oral and written expression,
text comprehension and analysis,
thematic discussions,
use of digital and authentic materials,
preparation for Modern Greek GCSE and other certifications.

Adult lessons are tailored to each student's personal, professional, or academic goals. Whether you want to learn Greek for travel, work, studies, family reasons, or exams, the program is shaped around your needs.
Teaching emphasizes the practical use of the language, with simulations of everyday situations, dialogues, thematic vocabulary, and targeted exercises.
The program focuses on:
everyday, academic, or professional use of the language,
developing oral communication,
enriching vocabulary and grammar,
simulations of real-life situations,
preparation for exams such as KPG, GCSE, and Ellinomatheia.

GREEKLY's group lessons are designed for small groups of up to 6 people and offer a lively, participatory, and interactive learning experience.
They are ideal for:
friends or family members,
children or teenagers with a similar level,
adults who want to learn Greek together.
The lesson content is designed based on the group's level, goals, and needs. Teaching is based on communication, collaboration, and the practical use of the Greek language through activities and everyday-life examples.
Note: In group lessons, an individual student's absence does not affect the lesson taking place.

GREEKLY was founded in 2026 with the goal of offering a modern, creative, and meaningful approach to teaching the Greek language.
Our teaching is based on interactive and communicative learning, making use of hands-on activities, role-playing, storytelling, and digital tools. Our aim is for learning Greek to be enjoyable, practical, and tailored to each student's needs.
At GREEKLY, we create a supportive and dynamic learning environment where students build confidence, develop their language skills, and form a meaningful connection with the Greek language and culture.

Angeliki is a philologist, educator, and founder of GREEKLY, specializing in teaching Greek as a second/foreign language, intercultural education, and special needs education.
She is a graduate of Greek Philology from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (specializing in Medieval and Modern Greek Language) and holds a master's degree in Education, Public Policy and Equity from the University of Glasgow, along with further training in intercultural education, special needs education, and neurodevelopmental/sensory disorders.
Since 2013, she has taught Greek to children, teenagers, and adults in Greece, the United Kingdom, and the USA, at tutoring centers, community schools in London, and the Maliotis Cultural Center in Boston, teaching Greek as a foreign/second language as well as Modern and Ancient Greek, and has prepared students for Ellinomatheia certifications and the Modern Greek GCSE.
She has also worked in education policy in the United Kingdom (Department for Education, Social Security Scotland), in roles developing educational programs and materials.
She is currently a PhD candidate at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, researching the use of digital environments for teaching Greek as a second language to children and young people.
Her teaching approach combines academic knowledge, pedagogical experience, and creative methods, aiming for every student to use Greek with confidence, interest, and self-assurance.
