Terms & Conditions
1. General Information
GREEKLY was founded in 2026 and provides online Greek language learning services through modern and interactive teaching methods. The business is based in Greece and its services are addressed to students in Greece, the United Kingdom, and other countries.
By using the website and booking lessons, the user fully accepts these Terms & Conditions.
2. Services Provided
GREEKLΥ offers:
Online one-to-one Greek lessons
Online group Greek lessons of up to 5 students
A free 30-minute trial lesson
All lessons take place online and are scheduled in advance.
3. Lessons for Minor Students
GREEKLY’s services are available to both adult and minor students.
In the case of minor students under the age of 18, lesson bookings, the provision of personal data, and any financial transaction must be carried out exclusively by a parent or legal guardian.
By booking a lesson, the parent or legal guardian confirms that they have legal responsibility for the minor student and gives their consent for the student’s participation in the lessons.
4. Bookings & Payments
Lesson bookings are made upon prior communication and confirmation.
Tuition fees are paid in advance, before the start of the lessons, according to the available lesson packages — 4, 8, or 12 lessons — agreed by both parties.
The total amount must be paid in full before the lesson start date.
No registration is considered complete, and no student may begin lessons, until the full payment has been completed.
Once payment has been completed, the student’s place is secured and participation in the lesson is confirmed.
5. Cancellation, Rescheduling & Technical Issues Policy
The Lesson Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy forms an integral part of these Terms and is available on a separate page of the website.
By booking a lesson, the student or the parent/legal guardian accepts this policy.
In the event of a delay or inability to carry out the lesson due to technical issues on the part of either the student or GREEKLY, the lesson will be considered scheduled according to the original booking. The possibility of making up or rescheduling the lesson will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and by mutual agreement between both parties.
If a scheduled lesson falls on an official public holiday, the lesson may be rescheduled to a new date and time by mutual agreement. The student is not required to attend the lesson on the public holiday and, if the lesson does not take place, it will not be deducted from their lesson package. However, if both parties wish to proceed, the lesson may take place as scheduled.
6. Intellectual Property
All educational material, website content, and digital tools are the intellectual property of GREEKLY and may not be reproduced or distributed without written permission.
7. Limitation of Liability
GREEKLY makes every effort to provide its services properly. However, it is not responsible for technical issues caused by third parties, such as internet connection problems.
8. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by Greek Law. The courts of Greece shall be competent for the resolution of any dispute.
